Secondary school completion rates in Apac District remain critically low, with less than 30% of students completing their education. This dropout is especially severe among girls, driven by factors such as teenage pregnancy, early marriage, and lack of access to menstrual hygiene products, Poverty and household responsibilities, which force many students to leave school early, teenage pregnancy and early marriage, Inadequate school facilities, including lack of girl-friendly sanitation and access to menstrual pads, which causes many girls to miss school during their periods. Providing schoolgirls with free menstrual pads and comprehensive health education will reduce absenteeism, empower them to stay in school, and improve their chances of completing secondary education.
