If you are a qualified midwife looking to use your skills to empower women and strengthen your community from the ground up, this opportunity is for you.
The Mission: Mobile Antenatal Clinics
In many rural areas, accessing quality maternal healthcare remains a massive challenge. Our volunteer midwives will be at the very heart of solving this problem by supporting our Monthly Mobile Antenatal Clinics right in the villages of Apac.
By taking healthcare directly to those who need it most, you will lead the delivery of our core clinical services:
- Critical Screenings:
- Screening for Pre-eclampsia to detect risks early.
- Screening for High Blood Pressure and monitoring maternal cardiovascular health.
- Screening for Diabetes Mellitus to manage gestational risks.
- Screening and prevention for Malaria in Pregnancy.
- Advanced Fetal Care: Performing Obstetric Scans to assess and ensure fetal well-being.
- Continuum of Care:
- Managing the Referral and Follow-up of High-Risk Pregnancies to ensure no mother is left behind.
- Providing essential Post-Partum Follow-up to support mothers and newborns after birth.
